Christina's Midlife Ischemic Stroke: Update on my Sister

“The Lord God has given Me
The tongue of the learned,
That I should know how to speak
A word in season to him who is weary.
He awakens Me morning by morning,
He awakens My ear
To hear as the learned.
Isaiah 50:4

Christina after her stroke

I am 43 and had an ischemic stroke caused by a heart defect known as FPO and ASA.
I am a fit, healthy single mom who
just completed 2 triathlons just 2 months ago!
I thought it was a migraine and
had no clue I could be having a stroke.
Well, I did and my left parietal lobe
(sensory lobe in my brain) was damaged.
Surgery coming up soon.
Find out the symptoms, effects and
recovery in this 30-60-90 journey after stroke.
